Prayer of Release

Prayer of Release

I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. 2 Timothy 1:12 NLT

Heavenly Father, I release to You the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for me to carry. I cast all my cares upon You–all my worries, all my fears. You have told me not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to You in prayer with thankfulness.

Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to You. I release to Your will all that I am trying to manipulate; I release to Your authority all that I am trying to control; I release to Your timing all that I have been striving to make happen.

I thank You for Your promise to sustain me, preserve me, and guard all that I have entrusted to Your keeping. Protect my heart and mind with Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Father, may Your will be done in my life, in Your time, and in Your way.

Rest

Lord, I long to be quiet, to rest in Your arms, to desire nothing, to be content just to be in Your presence. The things that I think I need, the obstacles that I think need to be removed, the changes that I believe need to take place in my life — are they really urgent? My life is Yours and You are very much in control of my affairs and You love me and want what’s best for me. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.

Even though

Trust His ways, even though they may not be your ways.

Take His hand, even though it means letting go of what you are hanging onto.

Depend upon His strength, even though you are aware of your weakness.

Please His heart, even though it means not having the approval of others.

Wait for His time, even though you desire to do it now.

Obey His Word, even though you hear different opinions.

Follow His path, even though it takes you through valleys and hills.

Seek His wisdom, even though you don’t understand everything He’s doing.

Give Him praise, even though you wish things were different.

Be at rest, even though you’re tempted to worry and fear.

Be Content

NOW GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS GREAT GAIN. FOR WE BROUGHT NOTHING INTO THIS WORLD, AND IT IS CERTAIN WE CAN CARRY NOTHING OUT. (1 TIMOTHY 6:7 *NKJV)

In this World today it is so easy to get caught up trying to make money, that it can become number one in our lives. We may even forget at times how very short our human life is compared to our Eternal life!  FOR WHAT IS YOUR LIFE?  IT IS EVEN A VAPOR THAT APPEARS FOR A LITTLE TIME AND THEN VANISHES AWAY. (JAMES 4:14)

We also may become easily distracted by those around us, who are so consumed by the love of money that they have lost sight of what is most important! If the truth be known those people often have very unhappy lives, for it is written: THE LOVE OF MONEY IS A ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL, FOR WHICH SOME HAVE STRAYED FROM THE FAITH IN THEIR GREEDINESS AND PIERCED THEMSELVES THROUGH WITH MANY SORROWS. (1 TIMOTHY 6:10)

Now that doesn’t mean we should live a life of poverty at all. For God wants His Children to prosper, after all He said: BE STRONG AND VERY COURAGEOUS, THAT YOU MAY OBSERVE TO DO ACCORDING TO ALL THE LAW WHICH MOSES MY SERVANT COMMANDED YOU; DO NOT TURN FROM IT TO THE RIGHT HAND OR TO THE LEFT, THAT YOU MAY PROSPER WHEREVER YOU MAY GO. (JOSHUA 1:7)

So when others distract you it is important to remember that as a Child of God you have an even better life ahead of you!  A life without pain, sorrow, sickness or any other adversity! One with the Angels, Arc-Angels and all the Company of Heaven. An Eternal life with God and your loved one’s who have already passed before you. So always: SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS ON THE EARTH. (COLOSSIANS 3:2) For then you will find true peace and happiness when you do!

Therefore, I PRAY THAT YOU MAY PROSPER IN ALL THINGS AND BE IN HEALTH, JUST AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS.  Amen. (3 JOHN 2)

Mother’s Day Prayer

Lord, You brought someone special to mind. I pray You will bless her for the many ways she’s been a blessing. Surround her with the love of those who care so much for her. Help her to see the many ways she’s touched her family and the many hearts who are blessed by her life.

Bon Voyage Mommy

I woke up at 5.30 am today. Took my shower and Jen came to pick me up at 6.00 am. We arrived at the airport at  6.15 am and met with Mommy and Papa. Mommy was checking-in. After that, we had McD for breakfast but I did not have much appetite. I was worried I would cry. I tried to stay focused and think of happy things.  At 7.10 am, we gave Mommy a hug before she boarded. I cried…  I couldn’t hold back my tears. I miss her dearly and yet I am glad for her because she is meeting Avery and Cher soon. I pray that God will protect her and grant her a safe and smooth journey as she travels to Bermuda.

Lord, watch over my Mother as she travels to Bermuda. May You grant her journey mercy, keep her safe in Your hands and bless her with good health. In Jesus name. Amen.

Big Day for Avery and Papa

Today, Avery is officially TWO! Weee… Blessed Birthday Avery! Aunty San wishes you good health and grow up to be as pretty as Snow White and Cinderella 🙂 And today is also Papa’s big day. You will be fine Papa. We will keep you in prayers. Love you all! *hugs and kisses*

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for my two beloved ones, Papa and Avery. On this day I ask for Your presence and protection upon Papa. May Your love and comfort surround him as he goes through his operation later. And touch him O Lord that he shall feel no pain and no fear. May Your healing hands heal him, in Jesus name.

God, thank you for Avery’s birthday too. Thank you for the beautiful cake, the simple pre-celebration that she had with her family, and for everyone who loves and cares for her. Continue to watch over her and bless her as she grows up to be a smart and beautiful girl. Thank You Lord. In Your loving and precious name. Amen.

Sleepless Nights

I am sleepless these few days. Stayed up till about one or two in the morning and got up at seven or earlier. If it happens only for one night, I am alright with it, but it happens 3 times in a row! Now I start to see stars and bees. I need to rest and sleep. God, please help me to rest my mind and take away all the stress and to trust you fully in everything I do. I seriously need to sleep. Thank You, Lord…
