Lunch at Sushi King

August 6, 2008

Two weeks ago, Ee Shiuan and us (Kim, Swee Im and myself) had lunch at Sushi King in Auto-City. Though it was just the 4 of us, I was grateful for being able to meet up with them, escpecially our beloved Ee Shiuan who has left for Brisbane for good last Friday. Gonna miss her so much!! Thank you girl for being such an awesome friend since primary school and all the best to you in Aussie.

Anyway, back to our food order. It took us almost half an hour to decide on what to eat. We really had no idea what to order. And in the end, Swee Im ordered Tori Teriyaki Don (steamed rice served with teriyaki chicken, sliced egg sheets, & sesame seeds).

Kim and myself had Zaru Soba (cold buckwheat noodles) each, and we shared the Unagi Kabayaki (grilled eels).

For our dessert, we ordered Kurugoma Wafer (black sesame ice cream wafer) and Macha Wafer (green tea ice cream with red bean).

Overall, the food is good and I definitely enjoyed the ice cream wafer 😀
