American Breakfast

July 17, 2008

Do you know what are the differences between continental and American breakfast? Continental breakfast is very light, barely a breakfast compared to American meals. Continental breakfast consists of bread, pastry, juice, tea or coffee, where as American breakfast comes with eggs (fried or poached), sliced bacon or sausages, sliced bread or toast, pan cakes or waffles with syrup, cornflakes or other cereal, coffee or tea and juice. Today, we cooked American breakfast in class. We made french toast, waffles, pancakes, poached sausages, baked beans and omelette for brunch.

I personally prefer continental breakfast to American breakfast 🙂
